Slow Roasted Pears
What you need
Whole pears - as many as you like. Buerre bosque pears work well
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: Around 2 hours
Method
Turn oven on to 150C. Leaving skin on, cut whole pears in half and remove core. Place cut side down in a baking dish and slow bake for around 2 hours or until the cut edge looks sticky and caramelised. Serve warm or leave to cool then store in sealed container in refrigerator.
