Dried Fruit Compote
What you need
- Dried apricots 1 cup.
- Dates 1 cup.
- Raisins ½ cup.
- Water 1 cup.
- Grated rind and juice 1 lemon.
- Honey or sugar 2 tablespoons.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Method
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to the boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes or until syrup has thickened slightly.
- Delicious served with yoghurt, pancakes, French toast, cereal or porridge.
